The Legion - consisting of members Gabe, Phil, Nate and Sebastian - have been working tirelessly over the past few years crafting hits for some of California’s greatest Hip Hop and R&B talents ranging from Mistah FAB, Glasses Malone, Ray J, Crooked I, Yukmouth, Messy Marv, The Jacka, Matt Blaque, Keak Da Sneak and many more, establishing The Legion as a recognizable force and fresh sound from the West Coast.

After studying music at UC San Diego, Gabe started to work under the guidance of 3-time Grammy winner and multi-platinum producer Narada Michael Walden at Tarpan studios, where they continuously developed their phenomenal talent and grew as musical minds. Once Gabe teamed up with Phil Cox in 2006, the two began blowing up on the Bay Area music scene as the producer team "The Slapboyz". The two had desires of expansion, leading to a new name, and the addition of members Nate - who is also a piano teacher - bringing a stronger element of musicianship to the group, and Sebastian, who comes from a more electronic/dance music background, catering to the new genre-crossing sounds heard in more chart accessible music today.

True artists, they know that a hit all starts with them and they take it there without relying heavily on samples. The Legion are poised to make huge strides this year, and their talent has been quickly recognized across California as 'must-have' material for any serious artists' project.
